My name is Aleksandra and I’m a graphic artist and a paintress.
Art is important part of my life – artistic expression helps me to understand myself and the outside world. Apart from art I’m keen on experimental music and sports, especially martial arts.
For me art is a means of communication. I believe that ideas and thoughts of one person can be transmitted through the medium and then read by other people. I believe that art is a mental means of communication of human beings.
My art is mainly focused on abstract paintings and graphic works. Paintings are represented by a series entitled ‘’Response’’, created as my diploma work in 2010-2011. Graphic works galleries consist of works made between the years 2007-2012.

Graphic Art is finding and constructing the form…
This area fascinates me because of the processuality and validity of each stage – from designing, sketching,by t reating the matrix to the final moment of passing print through the press. What is important is the fact that, from one matrix I can form a number of different works – each is different from the original and this is due to the different imposition of a color or the power of the press.
I use mainly etching techniques, especially dry point due to its expressive possibilities – needle stiching is an extension of hand that can fully transmit energy.
